Top Food and Drink Apps on Unified Platform in Central America Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, several food and drink applications showcased notable performance trends on the unified platform across Central America. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced varying trends in downloads and active user metrics.

DiDi Food - Food Delivery maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between approximately 86K and 112K. The app reached a peak of 112K downloads in the final week of December. Active users saw a peak mid-quarter with numbers rising to about 4.5M, although there was a dip towards the end of the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food & Groceries demonstrated a consistent increase in weekly downloads, culminating at around 119K in late December. Active user engagement showed a similar upward trend, peaking at around 5.5M in early December, before slightly declining by the end of the month.

Rappi - Deliveries in Minutes saw a varied performance in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 74K and rising to a high of 101K in the week leading up to Christmas. The app's active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 5.7M, although a slight drop was observed at the end of the quarter.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, beginning at around 87K and decreasing to 53K by the end of December. Despite this, active user numbers remained strong, averaging over 1M throughout the quarter.

KFC México showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, particularly towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 91K in the week of Christmas. Active users also saw growth, reaching about 296K during the same period.
